Home: Welcome

ST SEBASTIANS SECURITY GATE

If you would like access to the Memorial Garden at the side of St Sebastian's Church, please contact the Parish Office. We do ask that you don’t give the code out, but direct people to the office.

If you see antisocial behaviour in both church grounds, please contact the police straight away.

Thank you for your for your ongoing co-operation in these matters.

PILGRIMAGE TO ST ANNES AND BLESSED DOMINIC’S

Unfortunately, due to lack of numbers, the Deanery Pilgrimage to St Anne's and Blessed Dominic's Shrine (St Helens), on Saturday 20th September, has had to be cancelled. As a Parish Community, we are still looking forward to our own Jubilee Year Pilgrimage to Knock in October.

MASS INTENTIONS AND PRAYER LAMPS

Due to Data Protection policies, we cannot print personal information about peoples health or wellbeing (E.g. Get Well soon, ill, etc) without  the express consent of the person. Mass and Lamp Intentions will only have the name of the person, without any personal information published.

SICK AND COMMUNION VISITS

If you know someone who is housebound, or who is going into hospital for an operation, and would like to receive anointing, or if you know someone who would like to receive ongoing home Communion visits, please let the Parish Office know so we can arrange a visit. Many thanks.

VOLUNTEERS

We are in need of volunteers to help with the daily and sacramental life of our Churches. Our Churches are only able to continue to function due to the invaluable work of volunteers, who help out in many different ways. If you can spare some time to help out in any way within either of our communities, please contact the Parish Office.

UKRAINIAN COMMUNITY

The Ukrainian Rite Mass is held in Saint Sebastian's Church every Saturday evening at 5:30pm.

All are welcome. If you would like to offer help or support to the Ukrainian Community,

please contact Fr. Taras on: 07784634136, or email: liverpool@ucc-gb.com

CHILDREN IN CHURCH

All children, including those who are noisy, are welcome inside our Churches for any of our Masses, just as much as the adults within our community are welcome. A church that doesn't have the sound of children within its walls, is a church that is in decline. We welcome all families with open arms, especially those with young and noisy children.
