SISTERS OF MERCY 175 PARISH ANNIVERSARY

On Saturday 12th September, the Sisters of Mercy will celebrate 175 years of parish ministry within Saint Oswalds Parish. There will be a special Mass at 3:00pm, celebrated by the Papal Nuncio to the UK, Archbishop Miguel Buendia. All are welcome to come along to the celebration Mass.

Please note: there will be no other Masses or services on that Saturday.

SR MARY CARMEL RIP

It was with great sadness that we heard about Sr Mary Carmel passed away peacefully on Saturday 29th August, after 70 years of faithful service as a Sister of Mercy. Her funeral details are as follows:

Reception of body and Vigil Mass

Sunday 13th September at 6:00pm

Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Convent of Mercy

Monday 14th September at 11:00am

May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
