SAFEGUARDING AUDIT

The Safeguarding Office are holding a Safeguarding Audit within our deanery over the next few months. As part of this audit, we have been asked to look at our volunteer lists within both churches, and re-check any outstanding DBS that need renewing. In order to work through our list properly, I would ask every volunteer within our parishes to contact the office by Monday 6th July, and let us know if you wish to continue with your ministry and role. If you do not contact us by then, we will assume that you wish to step back from your role. Thank you for helping with the audit, and your continued support within our parish communities.

SCHOOL FOUNDATION GOVERNOR

Both St Cuthbert and St Sebastian schools are seeking committed and faith-filled individuals to serve as Foundation Governors. This is a rewarding opportunity to support the education and spiritual formation of young people in our community. Experience in education is not essential, just a willingness to serve, an interest in supporting the mission of Catholic education, and the ability to work collaboratively. Full training and ongoing support are provided. If you feel called to serve in this important ministry, or would like to learn more, please contact:

SICK AND COMMUNION VISITS

If you know someone who is housebound, or who is going into hospital for an operation, and would like to receive anointing, or if you know someone who would like to receive ongoing home Communion visits, please let the Parish Office know so we can arrange a visit. Many thanks.

UKRAINIAN COMMUNITY

The Ukrainian Rite Mass is held in Saint Sebastian's Church every Saturday evening at 5:30pm.

All are welcome. If you would like to offer help or support to the Ukrainian Community,

CHILDREN IN CHURCH

All children, including those who are noisy, are welcome inside our Churches for any of our Masses, just as much as the adults within our community are welcome. A church that doesn't have the sound of children within its walls, is a church that is in decline. We welcome all families with open arms, especially those with young and noisy children.
